Relationship Focused Care

So much of what matters to most of us, are our relationships.

Our NYC-based mental health practice provides specialized support for relationship-related concerns, helping you navigate challenges like communication issues, trust, intimacy, and conflict resolution. For many of us, we don’t grow up in spaces where we are either modeled or experience healthy ways of managing disagreements, conflict and needs in our relationships. As a result, we can struggle to navigate this in our adult friendships, romantic partners, work relationships, families and communities. Our licensed therapists are trained to address a variety of relationship dynamics, using both in the moment, practical strategies as well as creating space to understand what is holding us back from having deep connections. Whether you're facing specific challenges or seeking to improve overall relationship satisfaction, our services are here to help you achieve meaningful, lasting change.

How can we help?

  1. Strengthen Communication Skills: Poor communication is a common issue in relationships. Our NYC-based therapy can teach effective communication techniques to foster understanding, reduce and effectively resolve conflict.

  2. Healing After Betrayal or Loss of Trust: Our licensed therapists are skilled in helping clients rebuild trust and reconnect after breaches of loyalty, which aren’t always romantic and providing structured guidance to heal and move forward.

  3. Guidance for Life Transitions: There are often large shifts in our relationships during major life transitions, our therapists can help you understand and work through those changes in real time.

  4. Support for Non-Traditional and LGBTQ+ Relationships: Living in NYC, we understand the diverse range of relationships. Our therapists are culturally competent and LGBTQ+ affirming, offering insights that honor your unique experiences.

  5. Navigate Family and Interpersonal Conflicts: Relationship therapy in NYC isn’t just for couples. It can help with family conflicts, friendships, and workplace relationships, providing tools for healthier, more positive interactions.
